Jorge Dominicis Chief Executive Officer
Jorge Dominicis serves as the Chief Executive Officer for Wellpath. His role is to ensure operational excellence and to drive the organization’s strategic focus. Before joining Wellpath, Jorge served for 10 years as President of a healthcare company that provides a full continuum of recidivism reduction programs, during which the company increased revenue six-fold. Prior to that, he served 14 years as Vice President of Corporate Affairs at Florida Crystals Corporation, where he was responsible for all governmental and public affairs activity at the local, state, and federal level, as well as for the coordination of community outreach and charitable involvement. Jorge also served in various public and government policy positions in Florida, including the St. Mary’s Medical Center Governing Board and the Criminal Justice Commission. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, and international business from Florida International University.
Kip Hallman President
Kip Hallman serves as the President for Wellpath. He works closely with Jorge Dominicis on the organization’s strategic direction, and he also holds responsibility for Wellpath’s Partnership Development and Marketing groups. Kip has more than 30 years of diverse experience, including co-founding and growing a large national healthcare services company and leading the turnaround of a national diagnostic imaging provider. His passion is leading teams to achieve great results. Kip received his Bachelor of Arts, Cum Laude, in Economics from Claremont McKenna College.
Ben Slocum Chief Operating Officer
Ben Slocum is Wellpath’s Chief Operating Officer. He is an experienced healthcare executive who brings nearly four decades of vast knowledge to Wellpath’s comprehensive, patient-centered medical and behavioral offering. He works closely with our Division Presidents to ensure that we meet our commitments to our people and partners, achieve our operational goals, and of course, never waiver from our mission to provide quality care to every patient with compassion, collaboration and innovation. Ben’s key areas of focus include leveraging our significant support resources, and developing our talent and culture.
Juan Perez Chief Financial Officer
Juan Perez serves as Chief Financial Officer for Wellpath. He joined Wellpath in April 2016 with a background in mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. He has extensive accounting and finance experience, including public accounting, and public and private equity sponsored companies. Juan’s industry experience includes healthcare, high tech, manufacturing, resort, real estate, telecom, financial services and ISPs. He has vast experience leading and assembling large finance organizations while increasing productivity. He is a licensed CPA and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Colorado.
Dr. Thomas Pangburn Chief Clinical Officer
Dr. Thomas Pangburn is Wellpath’s Chief Clinical Officer. His primary responsibility is ensuring the organization provides its patients with quality healthcare. He also works as a liaison between medical staff and administration to support positive channels of communication while ensuring appropriate care to all patients. Dr. Pangburn, a board certified emergency medicine physician, was previously the Chief Innovation Officer for MedExpress and served more than a decade as the Director of Emergency Services at Heritage Valley Health Systems. In addition, he has led clinical initiatives for UnitedHealth Group and Optum that addressed quality and total cost of care. Dr. Pangburn’s work tackled some of the toughest challenges facing healthcare today including chronic disease management, value-based payment innovation for providers and hospital systems, and community-based programs that focused on the consumer centric experience, affordability, and valued based medicine.
Bob Martin Chief Information Officer
Bob Martin began his career at Wellpath in 2003. He has over 32 years of information technology (IT) experience, including 20 years in the healthcare arena. Bob is responsible for overseeing technology services and coordinating major project management activities. Currently, his team supervises the daily production and development of Wellpath internal systems and networks, as well as external IT needs including various electronic medical records products. Bob has a bachelor’s degree in engineering with an emphasis in computer science from Michigan State University.
Marc Goldstone Chief Legal Officer
Marc Goldstone is Wellpath’s Chief Legal Officer, overseeing various aspects of the legal operations of the organization, including managing the Legal, Compliance, Risk Management, and Internal Audit functions. He brings more than 25 years of health law experience to Wellpath. Most recently, Marc served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel for the Prime Healthcare System in Southern California. Marc is an honors graduate of the Rutgers School of Law.
Ann Hatcher Chief Human Resources Officer
Ann Hatcher is Wellpath’s Chief Human Resources Officer. She previously served as Vice President of Human Resources for HCA Healthcare’s nursing services division since 2017. Ann served more than two decades with HCA where she held a number of positions and was a proven healthcare and human resources leader. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated the ability to build a culture of highly effective and engaged healthcare professionals committed to delivering quality health outcomes for patients. Ann received her Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Washington & Lee University and Masters of Business Administration from Belmont University.
Cindy Watson Division President, Local Government Healthcare
Cindy Watson is responsible for leading the Local Government Healthcare division at Wellpath. She coordinates the start-up of all new contracts, oversees accreditation processes for both adult and juvenile correctional health care programs, and directs the development of all personnel and operational policies and procedures. Cindy also oversees nursing quality management and training, recruitment and contract liaison. She received her master’s degree in communication disorders from Syracuse University after earning her bachelor’s degree in the same discipline from The College of Saint Rose.
Jeremy Barr Division President, Recovery Solutions
Jeremy Barr joined Wellpath in 2011 and is responsible for leading the administrative, operational, and development efforts of Wellpath Recovery Solutions. Prior to assuming his current role, Jeremy served as Senior Vice President for Partnership Development and was responsible for identifying opportunities and developing strategies to align client’s needs with Wellpath’s capabilities, managing governmental affairs, and building strategic partnerships to support the continued growth of the organization. Jeremy received his Master’s degree in Communications Studies from Florida Atlantic University and his Bachelor’s degree in Communications Studies from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.
Jeff Traczewski Division President, State and Federal
Jeff Traczewski is President of the State and Federal Division. A long-time Wellpath team member, Jeff has been a key executive since 2009 and has assumed several senior Operations and Partnership Development leadership roles including Senior Vice President of Partnership Development for the Local Government Division, Regional Vice President of Kentucky Operations, and Vice President of Business Development. Jeff has a business degree from the University of Louisville and an MBA from Western New England College. He is a music and sports lover whose big personality is only matched by his even bigger heart and complete dedication to our mission to help as many people as possible.
Dr. Neil Schamban Division President, Community Care
Dr. Neil Schamban is Wellpath’s President of the Community Care Division. He is an Emergency Medicine Physician and started his career in academics as the Division Chairman of Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, overseeing both the adult emergency department and Children’s Hospital. In 2008, Dr. Schamban moved to Alabama and founded Pegasus Emergency Group which provided care to several hundred thousand patients in the Southeastern United States by 2013. In 2014, Dr. Schamban continued his career as medical leader at Island Medical which experienced significant growth as a national platform for emergency medicine during his tenure. Dr. Schamban is dedicated to providing compassionate, quality care to all patients and wellness to providers in a positive work environment. He is passionate about providing access and solutions to the myriad of patients who suffer from opiate addiction and achieve better outcomes allowing them to live purposeful and quality lives.
