Wellpath Opens Clinic in Yuba City to Treat Substance Abuse Use
Yuba City, CA – This month, Wellpath Community Care Centers opened their Yuba City location, devoted to treating opioid addiction and other substance use disorders.

Medication-Assisted Treatment is the use of FDA-approved medications, including Suboxone, Vivitrol, and in some locations, Methadone, in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies, to provide a “whole patient” approach to the treatment of substance use disorders. A common myth of MAT is that it’s only about the medicine, but it is truly about the combination: Medicine + Counseling = Treatment.
Wellpath offers same-day admission, walk-in appointments, and a provider on-site every day of the week. Tele-health services are also available for those who cannot make it to the clinic regularly; this is especially critical in continuing to service patients during COVID-19.
In the midst of the holiday season and with a new year just around the corner, now is an especially important time when individuals with substance use disorders seek changes in their lives.
