Nashville, TN—Today, Alpine Special Treatment Center and the Harborview Center announced they will join the Wellpath family in its mission to provide quality care to every patient with compassion, collaboration, and innovation. With this transaction, Wellpath’s Recovery Solutions division will expand its existing California operations to provide high-quality, patient-centered services to individuals experiencing a mental health condition requiring residential treatment.

“Wellpath, Alpine Treatment Center, and the Harborview Center put patients first, with evidence-based, goal-oriented programs that give individuals facing psychiatric illnesses the tools necessary to transition back into the community,” said Jorge Dominicis, CEO of Wellpath. “This combination is a natural evolution of both our organizations, and we look forward to future growth with more holistic options for our patients.”

“Alpine Special Treatment Center and the Harborview Center have demonstrated success in helping clients achieve independence following hospitalization for acute psychiatric symptoms, or avoiding hospitalization altogether,” said Jeremy Barr, President of Wellpath Recovery Solutions. “Bringing together decades of experience from both organizations will allow us to utilize best practices in delivering patient-centered, evidence-based care for patients wherever they are in their mental healthcare journey.”

As part of the transaction, Kristin Allred, Executive Administrator of Alpine Special Treatment Center, and the Harborview Center, will join Wellpath as Senior Vice President of Operations and Development. Alpine Treatment Center is located 30 miles east of San Diego and the Harborview Center is located in Long Beach, California. Together, these locations provide services to more than 200 individuals each day, with plans to develop new services throughout the state of California and beyond.
